What is CPAP?

In modern clinical medicine, among many medical devices are the indispensable instruments to save lives, such as continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or ventilator. How the motor works in the ventilator

The motor is the core of the ventilator control system. When the ventilator is working in good condition, sensors “sense” changes in respiratory mechanics and control the voltage and speed of the DC motor to cause the ventilator relief valve to close. Once the air supply is interrupted, the negative pressure of the pipe resulting from the patient’s inhalation is controlled by the motor driving the valve plate while the motor gearbox regulates the air intake. The air is piped to ensure the patient’s supply of air and avoid suffocation.


DC motors are commonly used in safety devices. When either of the two gases is used up or no longer meets the requirements of use, the motor control valve from the other gas immediately and automatically switch to maintain the gas supply.
